After climbing the hundreds of steps (or take the elevator) to explore the cathedral and chapel of the Black Virgin perched on the top of a cliff, you can enjoy a fabulous meal at one of the restaurants below. Shopping is plentiful and if your feet hurt, there is even a little train that will take you from one end of Rocamadour village to the other.
In addition to the 'Plus Beaux Villages de France' and Rocamadour, nearby the Châteaux and fortified castles scatter the Lot countryside, waiting to be explored.
